Q: Can you make less than 10 cups in a 10 cup Coffee maker?
I don't like wasting coffee, but BUNN does not make a 5 cup coffee maker...
Can't you just put in less coffee gounds and less water, and still brew coffee the same?
A: Yes, you most definitely can! Just measure the amounts of cups of coffee you would like and fill up the back with some water using the mug you will be using. Then, you won't waste and you have the perfect amount.
Q: Has anyone used the Kalorik 10 cup coffee maker?
I can't find any reviews on the 10 cup that grinds and brews coffee. Sells for the high two hundreds.
A: im sorry, i do not drink coffee because it stunts your growth. On the other hand, im very young.

Q: Is it effective to use a 10 cup coffee maker for making 16 oz of coffee at a time?
I only make 2 cups at a time but I really like the looks of the larger models. Will it be a waste of time and effort to use such a large maker? Has anyone ever tried this?
A: I do not think so
Q: Is it possible to make a really good cup of coffee with a regular coffee maker?
I have a Krups 10 cup coffee maker with the water filter in it. I have bought Dunkin, Starbucks, etc. & still cannot get that full flavor like they do. I follow the directions on the bags as far as the ratio of grounds to water. I would love any hints or help. Thanks!
A: Probably, But I don't drink coffee.
Q: How much coffee beans do I need to grind for a 10-cup coffee pot?
A friend gave me a coffee grinder but I have no idea how much whole beans to grind for a 10-cup coffee maker.
A: A good starting point is 1/2 cup coffee for 10 six oz cups of coffee. This is the recommendation on most coffee cans or bricks you buy in the store. You can then adjust the amount by adding a little more or a little less next time you brew depending if you want your coffee a little stronger or weaker. Everyone has slightly different tastes.
Happy brewing.
Q: Looking for a Black Braun Aromaster K400 10 cup coffee maker (they're discontinued) - Help! Thanks!?
Braun has discontinued this great coffee maker - I am hoping that someone has one in backstock or has one they've never used. I appreciate the help! If you only have a white one, I'd be interested, but I prefer the black.
Thanks so much!
A: ebay
Q: What's better for the environment? A Keurig one-cup coffee maker or an old-fashioned Mr. Coffee machine?
Probably about 10 cups a day are drank in the office.
While the Keurig only powers up for each cup, it does keep water heated within it for preparation. It also uses disposable K-cups for each use.
The Mr. Coffee brews the 10 cups all at once, but would be left on for 8 hours straight. Disposed of would be one paper filter. (Or, perhaps for freshness, two brews would take place.)
In any case, which is better for the environment?
A: I like my Mr. Coffee. I've heard a lot of complaints about the Keurig, that they don't last long enough for the money they cost. If you are unfortunate enough to have it go out after the warranty is up, the only thing you can do is throw it out and that in itself fills up the landfills. Based on that alone, Mr. Coffee is better for the environment. I've had mine for about 10 yrs.
Q: How many scoops of Folgers Coffee should I put in the coffee maker using 10 cups of water?
I put in just a lil over 1 scoop, is that ok?
I am using the scoop that comes with the Folgers coffee container.
A: Do 2 scoops
Q: 10 Cup Coffee Grinder and Thermal what recipes?
We have a stainless steel coffee maker. Are there any good recipes I can make?
The coffee maker is made by Cuisinart
I like sweet,
Or am I an expresso person?
A: There's a mexican coffee you can make.
-start with a cup of medium-dark arabica beans. Grind them fresh.
-add 2/3 c. packed brown sugar to the coffee pot.
-add 10 broken whole cloves to the ground coffee.
-add several broken cinnamon sticks to the ground coffee.
Brew.
Make sure to add cream and sugar to taste.
Enjoy.
Q: Does anyone know where I can find a 10 cup measuring pitcher for a coffee maker.?
A: If the coffee maker is fairly new, you can get replacement carafes at the same store where you bought the coffee maker. It's important to get the same brand you had before, because a different one might not fit properly. It needs to be the right height to push the button that releases the coffee, and the hole in the top needs to line up with the spout where the coffee comes out.
Q: How many pots of Coffee does a 1kg container give me?
I like Folgers. I buy the 1kg container but I often wondered if I am getting the bang for my buck. I use a 10 cup coffee maker and put six coffee measuring spoons in for one pot. How many pots can I make with one Kg of Folgers. Also, when you figure that out if you are smart enough, how many single cups does it total.
A: At the strength you're making it, which is just a bit weaker than most coffees recommend, you'll get about 300 cups per Kg of coffee.
1 Kg coffee = 240 to 270 Tbsp
Q: Why can't one find a 6 cup automatic coffee maker.?
All coffee makers are either 4 - 10 - or 12 cups. I would like a 6 cup automatic coffee maker.
A: I have never saw a 6 cup one, I have a 4 cup one which amounts to about 2 and a half cups of coffee.
Q: Does anyone know how to get a Cooks (2125) Coffee Maker to brew more than just 2 cups of coffee? holds 10 cups
I have a new Cooks (from JC Penney) Thermal Coffee Maker (model # 2125) and I've just got it out of the box and I'm trying to use it for the first time and it says to run a full pot of water through it first. I filled it up with water and then set it and it's only running for 2 cups and then it stops even though it's got a full 10 cups of water in it.
I've read the directions 100 times and I'm at a lost. The only thing I can think of is that it has to have coffee in it to run the entire amount of water through, but I've never in my life had to do this with any other coffee maker. I've tried this on the manual start and the timer start...no luck either way. Most of the time it just runs for about 30 seconds or so and shuts off.
Any help? Advice? I greatly appreciate it!
A: This machine sounds like an old Bunn setup we use to use. Is it supposed to start running water thru a filter filled with coffee as soon as you pour more water into the top???. If so, you have to pour in a full pot, turn it on and let it set. That's when the element comes on and heats the water you just poured in. When you pour in more water, the hot water that was in the tank is pushed out over the coffee in the filter and holder, making your fresh coffee immediately. If it's not that type of machine, either email or IM me and I'll try to work it out with you.
Q: How do I descale a coffe maker?
I believe it's time to do that - there are water stains inside the water-reservoir. It's a regular no-frills drip coffee maker, 10 cup capacity. How do I descale? Thanks!
A: You have to use a special product. "Clear Flow" for instance.
Q: My old coffee maker just burned out and I don't know what to buy.?
I've had a Braun coffee maker (not percolator) that was great for 15 years. The only store here that carried it went broke. I could mail order something like it from Amazon, but I would like suggestions as to the following.
I would like a 10-12 cup coffee maker (not a percolator and not espresso or cappuccino). I don't want it to be programmable and I don't want it have a grinding capability. All I want is a coffee maker. I would prefer black but can live without it.:) Any opinions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Gerry
A: Well I've heard Bunn is a good coffeemaker. It can make a pot of coffee in 3 minutes.
