Q: Are there any hot chocolate pods for or compatible to the Senseo Single-Serve Coffee Machine?
I just bought a Senseo machine and I know that there are coffee, cappuccino, and tea pods for this machine. However, I LOVE hot chocolate and I was wondering if I would be able to make any with my new machine?

A: Never as good! we have a coffee maker at work that does several sorts of coffee (no tea, but it does give you hot water to put the tea-bag in) and hot chocolate, but I definitely prefer the homemade stuff. Just put a mug of milk in the microwave (a minute or two til it's good and hot, depending on the "strength") and plunk in some dark chocolate and a sweetener (sugar or honey depending on what you like - I usually use honey before bedtime and sugar in daytime). Don't do it with the Senseo even if you do find the pods! Speaking of hot chocolate, I'm going to make me some! Thanks for reminding me! "Hello, I'm Jo and I'm a chocoholic" LOL

Q: Anyone know how to fix lid problem with senseo coffee machine?
Instead of using the pod, I tried it with normal coffee and the lid has been locked tight ever since. The website says it is caused by a vacum and the problem should be corrected after 24 hours. My machine has been like this for two days.

A: Is it still under warranty? (cksq)

Q: I have just bought a Dough Egberts Senseo Coffee machine, and i was wondering whether it does hot chocolate?
Can you buy any hot chocolate pouches to put in it? Where from if yes?

A: sure you can!

Q: Anyone own a Senseo coffee machine?
I'm on my 2nd one, and still love it. Did you know that Godiva is now making coffee pods? What is your favorite type of Senseo coffee?

A: Everyone that I have talked to that has tried the Godiva coffee pods say they are gross. Even the regular Senseo pods leave a lot to be desired. There are much better coffee pods available from companies like Black Mountain Gold, Cafejo, JavaOne, Baronet and my favorite, Fratello. They have over 40 varieties of Fratello coffee pods at www.thecoffeeartisan.com I'm sure you will love them if you try them. They are individually wrapped so they stay fresh and brew an 8 oz. mug with a single pod.

Q: Senseo Coffee Machine?
Purchased a Senseo yesterday. Can not get it to make coffee that is not bitter - awful. I like mild coffees. Why is the coffee so bad??

A: Which Senseo pod type are you using? I had a bag of the "dark" pods and found them to be very bitter. I've started using a combination of the Millstone Columbian pod and the Senseo medium roast pod. This combo makes a really good full cup of coffee.

Q: Is the Senseo coffee machines good for makin coffee?
I need a new coffee maker and a single guy so I dont need alot made at a time but I was wondering if the Senseo machines make good coffee and the deluxe model is worth it? :) thanx Greg

A: I had one and the coffee is good. It adds a foam to the top. The only problem is that it cost about 25ยข a pod and if you use a large cup it requires 2. I finally switched to a cheap drip coffee maker and buy flavored coffee. It is only a few cents a cup for coffee and filters cost about a penny.

Q: Anyone know how to get the free Senseo coffee pod machine?

A: no I don;t sorry Good luck though

Q: Gevalia coffee/tea pods in Senseo Pod Machine?
I just signed up for the ShareSenseo Pod Machine promotion. Will these Gevalia coffee pods I have work in this Senseo Pod Machine?

A: They are all adaptable to any pod style coffee maker, then it is a matter of taste, I was a member of the Gevalia Coffee club back in the 1980's, I got a coffee maker with it, I love it and can find it here in Canada, I live in Toronto and we are very cosmopolitan so I have my choice of places, I like the dark morning roast, Swedish coffee like most Eurpoean style is a bit headier and stronger, but more flavourful than most North America brands. Enjoy you will be very surprise how much nicer they are, and will most likely switching to them all the time.

Q: descaling coffee machine?
i have run a limescale treatment through my senseo coffee machine and cannot get rid of the disgusting taste. have flushed it through 40 times or more and have run through some bicarb which has not helped. i dont want to buy another machine again. has anyone get any suggestions on how to get rid of the taste.

A: I know senseo machines are not the same as regular coffee machines, but in our regular coffee machine, we always run plain white vinegar through it, followed by running a couple batches of water through it to clean it out thoroughly. That usually works well for us.

Q: which is the best coffee pod machine? senseo, tassimo or dolce gusto?
which does the tastiest coffee? the hottest? the most authentic espresso?

A: best coffee is nescafe i will not accept anything but this

Q: Is it possible to make yourown coffee "pods" -for the Pillips Senseo machine? if so, how?

A: Good luck on the Senseo machine but I like to use Senseo pads in my espresso machine (which has a built in metal "filter") because they're so tidy. I don't need them since it comes with that metal device. Maybe you can search for a metal "trap" that will work similarly to a tea/ infusion ball?

Q: Does anyone own one of those Senseo coffee pod machines?
Your opinion please. Worth the price of the coffee pods?

A: yes and don't bother buying one! Nothing but trouble since the day i bought it. Finally got a refund and bought a Tassimmo machine. No probs with it at all and the coffee tastes 30 times better!!

Q: Are all coffee pods the same?
I recently purchased the phillips senseo coffee machine for my parents for christmas and was wondering if you could buy any brand and/or type of coffe pods? Anybody know?

A: Target has several pod brands. Here is the link to all of the pods available: http://www.target.com/gp/browse.html/ref=sc_pgb_r_10_0_1041756_2/602-3591017-9620646?ie=UTF8&node=13386081 From what I have read, most pods are able to used in different machines.

Q: are there fill your own pods for senseo coffee makers ?
Recently received a senseo coffee maker I like the coffee but is quite expensive would like to fill my own pods. are they available and where cannot use standard filters or napkins etc.has to be made for machine.

A: Hey I found this and remembered you asked (cause I wondered too) http://www.thegreenhead.com/2006/11/perfect-pod-maker.php

Q: senseo coffee maker?
anyone have these? do you like them? they seem very convenient, but does the coffee taste good? i'm used to just a normal mr coffee drip machine, so im not incredibly picky, i just don't want watered down coffee.

A: One of the departments at my university makes the senseo coffee available to faculty. The coffee tastes like sewage. You might as well just buy the Folgers coffee in the little tea bags. They are a lot cheaper, equally convenient, and taste the same. If you are after taste, goto bocajava.com. It is the best coffee in the UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I go through about 3 pounds per month. It is a little more expensive than Starbucks, but tastes infinitely better. If you buy from bocajava and say that I (jimw223@yahoo.com) sent you, we will each get a $10 credit. Once you go bocajava, you will NEVER drink anything else. PS I do not work for bocajava, but have been a loyal customer for over one year.
