Q: Where can I find an instruction manual for the Delonghi EC330s coffee machine?
I bought this coffee machine at a discount store as it came without an instruction booklet. I would like the instruction manual for it but am unable to find one. Preferably I would like it to be free (internet maybe) but I am prepared to pay also. Thank you.

A: Here: http://safemanuals.com/user-guide-instructions-owner-manual/DELONGHI/COFFEE%20MAKER%20EC330S-_E

A: Try a De calking solution...

Q: delonghi esam6600 coffee machine?
hiya....bought a delonghi esam6600 coffee machine....absolutly awsome and would reccomend anyone whos thinking of getting one to do just that. however im not a big coffee pro and am finding it difficult to set themachine to make the perfect cappachino, latte and flat white to the cup size. can somone who has this machine tell me how much milk/coffee the machine needs to pour in so it makes the perfect cup of each i stated above. e.g when you hold the cappachino button for 8 secs to set the limits according to cup size....how much milk to how much coffee do you allow the machne to pour until you stop it. hope that makes sence...thanks.

A: Getting it right is a matter of trial and error. You need to adjust for the type of bean, the grind, and your personal taste. Start by following the recomendations in the manual. Keep a log. Adjust to your personal taste.

Q: where to buy replacement carafe for a DeLonghi Caffe Nabucco coffee machine?

A: I'd start looking at amazon.com. If they don't have a replacement carafe, you may have to order it from the manufacturer. Do you have the intruction brochure that came with your machine? Look there.

Q: Delonghi Caffe Sorrento Espresso Machine does anyone know how to use the steamer i can make the coffee but
having trouble with the steamer it has the nozzle and warms up but doesn't do anything else i don't have the directions

A: I have a DeLonghi Magnifica 3300 machine, so maybe it's similar:) .. Make your coffee as usual. 1) Fill a metal container with about 3.5 oz. of cold milk 2) Move the milk frother to the outside of the machine 3) Press the steam function button. It will start flashing to indicate that it's heating up 4) When the light remains on steadiy, the temperature is ready to steam...immediately (within no more than 2 min - or it will switch back), put the tip of the frother into the container of milk. 5) Turn the steam control dial half-turn clockwise until it stops. The steam released will make the milk froth increase in volume. 6) when it stops, put the the steam control dial back where it was...

Q: Whats a good standard coffee machine brand?
I just want a standard one, nothing out standing. $200-$400 Which is better Black and decker, krups, breville, Delonghi, Gaggia, Eurolab. If they all have the same features and around the same prices, which brand is more trusted.

A: In that price range, i'd go with the Delonghi or Gaggia. The american brands don't really make a good, consistent machine and are only put out to fill a gap in the market... Also, don't get the machines that make both drip and espresso because those aren't very good. Get an espresso machine with a frother.

Q: Can an Espresso Machine Brew Coffee?
does a delonghi espresso machine brew coffe also, or do u just turn down the strength?

A: An espresso machine isn't for regular coffee. To make coffee in an espresso machine is to make an "Americano". To do that, you pull the standard shot, put it into a preheated coffee cup & add hot water with the wand (can pour from a kettle too). A super automatic needs to be too expensive to be great at that price. Check out the Rancillio Sylvia. It's actually less $$$ and is ready in no time. You have to do a little more work, but the DeLonghi can't compress the grinds well enough for a "real" espresso. It may taste fine, but it will never be great. If you mainly want coffee, try a french press. Cheap & makes some of the best coffee out there. Also, the fresher the grind, the better the brew. If you want a little slice of heaven, get a good burr grinder & buy whole beans. I even got into roasting them fresh. For only $150 over the DeLonghi, you can get a Rancillio Rocky (grinder) & Sylvia (machine) combo.

Q: Delonghi Ad Music - Violin Piece?
This is going to sound crazy. I have watched a few Delonghi coffee machine advertisements and they have a particular classical piece that features in all the ads. Its a violin piece (not solo). I'm not music savvy at all (I only know I love the tune) so I can't give you any notes or indication of who the composer may be. I'm hoping that someone who has a music knowledge has also seen the ads and knows what the piece is called. Thank you.

A: I had never seen the commercial, but I found videos of De Longhi commercials at their website. If it's the commercial with the woman at a party with a fancy black dress, I'm not sure if that's a classical piece. There is also some singing, and what sounds like a modern band playing in the background. The theme doesn't sound familiar to me, so it may just be a jingle written for the commercial to sound like chamber music. I could be wrong though, so don't quote me on it. ;-)

Q: Frothing soy milk in nesspresso machine?
we've got this coffee machine a delonghi en 90.m nesspresso shown here http://en.toppreise.ch/index.php?a=127304 and i drink soy milk except the frothier with it doesn't froth the soy milk please help me i drink sanatarium so good soy milk

A: When frothing milk it is important to swirl slowly at the beginning. Then after it has built up some temp, then you can start to "slurp" it to help make some froth. After you get some good stuff going, tap the bottom of the pitcher to get rid of the large bubbles and keep the smaller thicker stuff. One thing to make sure is that you don't burn the soy milk. It gets a bad taste sooner than cow milk. In my own experience skim milk froths better, but whole milk keeps its froth longer.

Q: Is DeLonghi a good brand for Espresso Machines?
I bought the DeLonghi BCO 120T with coffee maker and Espresso Machine and I was wondering if this is a good buy? I was wondering how this one compares with the more expensive models? I know DeLonghi is Italian and they make good machines. I got it for $80 dollars. Any Experiences with Espresso machines?

A: The DeLonghi's are a good machine but espresso is like olive oil and wine - the more you pay the better quality you get. So being familiar with these things at $80 you may not have the best machine. Check to see how many BARS pressure it has. If it's over 12 BARS then you are fine. The pressure is what creates the right force to extract the full flavor and crema for the best drink. You can learn much more at this great site - www.top100espressomachines.com. They really do a good job of explaining the differences between the various models and their benefits. Happy brewing!

Q: ESAM6600 DeLonghi - how to make weaker coffee? or is it the coffee beans?
Just new owner of a Prima Donna ESAM 6600 - I know price is ouch but it's an Excellent Automatic Machine better than my old GAGGIA and it is much quicker but the coffee I make on Gaggia tastes better than DeLonghi - I don't know whether it is the coffee beans I have been given for free or I need to adjust something on the machine, I have selected extra-mild taste but it still tastes strong. I enjoy drinking Lavazza - 100% Arabic beans. I am yet to try this one on the ESAM6600 as I have opened Free coffee beans of LaZumba which is a mix of exotic ethiopian beans. Any coffee lovers out there can help me understand coffee beans or machine better?

A: I think it's the beans. Ethopian beans seem to make a stronger brew than Arbica beans. I'd simply try adding a bit of hot water to the finished coffee to weaken it to your liking, if you'd like to use the free beans up before buying more of your prefered brand.

Q: Help, instructions for coffee machine?
Hi guys, i bought a second hand cofee machine and i can't tell whether i am doing something wrong or whether it is actually broken, i tried looking for the instructions on the net but i can't find them so i was hoping someone might know where i could download/find them on the web from. It's by 'delonghi' and the only information given on the machine is on the base and are as follows: CAT: BCS TYP: BC0120 [i'm assuming this is the model] 220-240V-50/60 Hz 1700W thank you

A: It looks to me like you've bought a European model of one of their combo (coffee/espresso) machines. The first 3 characters of the model number are all letters - BCO - and then the 2nd 3 characters are numbers. The Delhonghi website shows the BCO110 model, but not the 120 - could be that they no longer make it. One idea, if yours is one of the combo models, and if you can find instructions for the 110 online, you'll probably be able to use them. Or you could contact Delonghi and ask them to send you a user manual. I know that doesn't help you fix your coffee this morning - sorry!

Q: BARISTAS HELP! Bought my first espresso machine, now what? What are the extra accessories I need?
I just bought my first espresso machine; it's "DeLonghi BCO130T Combination Coffee/Espresso Machine". Here is the link to the product: http://www.amazon.com/DeLonghi-BCO130T-Combination-Espresso-Machine/dp/B000F2M16O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1205453139&sr=1-1 I'm pretty good at navigating the net, but I cannot find a place that tells me exactly what I need! Do I get a grinder for beans? Also, I was going to get a frothing pitcher and a thermometer, do I really need these? I was also looking into getting some of the espresso pods. I know that they won't taste as good, but it will be great for those mornings when I'm in a rush! The pods say that your machine has to be designed to accept "ESE" coffee pods. I was looking at the machine's manual online and couldn't find this anywhere. Is there anything else I need? Oh and by the way, I usually drink lattes and stuff like that. Thanks for your help in advance!!! =o)

A: Ok, I'm not a barista, but I have an espresso machine. You could get a grinder for the espresso beans, or just buy it already ground. I don't use a thermometer, so it might be nice, although not necessary. You need something to use to steam/froth the milk, though a specific frothing pitcher isn't necessary. I use a ceramic mug. I've been told that either ceramic or stainless steel mugs work well. Note: keep this in the fridge, it somehow helps with the frothing...not sure why. Hope this helps.

Q: What Espresso machine do you recommend?
I am hoping to spend $100- 200. Some brands I have seen on eBay: DeLonghi, Nespresso, Krups, Gaggia, and Mr. Coffee. Please help! This is an anniversary gift for my husband. Starbucks Barista Espresso Machine?

A: I have a Krups brand and have been very happy with it.
