Q: coffee bean?
i would like to know where can i get coffee bean in packed form? i am from malaysia. Should i get i from shop or online? if online pls provide me the website, if shop name of company pls?

A: Dear Alicia,
Malaysia has a lot of variety of coffee beans available. You can shop for local variety at CarreFour, Giant and local coffee shop, "Kopi Tiam" where sometimes sells coffee bean or coffee powder.
"Coffee Bean and Leaf" and Starbucks also selling coffee beans too.
Mostly online overseas website only offered beans to be deliver locally there. Overseas delivery not encourage.
I am from Malaysia, got my beans from "coffee beans" and starbucks.

I have tasted the nice Vietnamese coffee at Hanoi. Can anyone share with me where can i get the Vietnamese coffee bean (powder will be more convenient for me) and the fliter at Malaysia here? Penang and Sabah place will be my top priorities. Thanks!
A: i got one from vietnam but i m not selling. You can get it in mid valley.in a vietnam restaurant same floor with the cinema. i find the price quite expensive.....
Q: How to get coffee from bean tree?
We bought a house a year ago and lady had couple coffee bean trees, they sprouted all over and now we have tens of them, the only problem I do not know how to collect beans for coffee. I can not find anywhere any info about them. They do not have red berries, flowers are white with orange outline or something, they get green bean berry that has two beans in it and they get brown and fall of before I can get to them. Trees are small and do flower over and over constantly. Any ideas how to grow them and get coffee, anybody has same trees? I am in Florida.
A: I watched a show on coffee once and the thing I remember is that the best coffee grows in a cool, damp environment. Usually the mountains in South America (Brazil I think) and Jamaica. They picked the beans when they were a red color.
My guess is that the climate you live in isn't allowing the beans to ripen slowly enough to catch them at that stage. Plus you have to roast them and grind them. Is it really worth all the work? I like coffee, but not that much!

Q: Who is your least expensive roasted coffee bean supplier?
I find it particularly annoying (and time consuming) that online seller's consistently require you to provide all your personal info before revealing what they also charge for shipping (and any other charges) that make up the final "delivered" price of their products.
I would appreciate it if anyone who's been down this pike would pass along the least expensive (and satisfactory) roasted coffee bean supplier they have found.

A: Only if you can bring it inside for the winter. It's a tropical, and will die if it's outside when the weather dips below freezing.
Maybe grow it as a bonsai tree? Bring it outside during the mild months, and bring it into a sunny window for the winter. Prune to keep it small.
It's not a huge tree to begin with, so it should be entirely possible.

A: Coffee beans do not dissolve...they are crunchy and gritty like dirt. If you chew one up and hold the grit under your tongue then you might get the caffeine a little quicker but not enough so as to get a caffeine rush.
I do not drink coffee but I love chocolate covered coffee beans! About 5 beans will equal the amount of caffeine in a cup of coffee.
